What Is an NT Scan?
The Nuchal Translucency (NT) Scan is a crucial prenatal screening test done between 12 weeks and 13 weeks + 6 days of pregnancy. It’s a non-invasive ultrasound that measures the clear (translucent) space at the back of the baby’s neck.
This scan helps assess the risk of chromosomal abnormalities like:
