The Early Target Scan (also called the Fetal Anatomical Survey) is a detailed ultrasound done between 16 and 18 weeks of pregnancy. This scan focuses on identifying major structural abnormalities in the baby earlier than the standard anomaly scan (which is done between 18–22 weeks).
